FAQ

No. The St. Andrews HOA is a member of a Colorado statewide organization of HOA’s, called the “Council of Neighbors and Organizations” (CONO). Members of our board frequently attend their meetings and occasionally use CONO as a source of guidance and information on matters where our board is not experienced.

The HOA contacted the City Code Enforcement division who we believe then contacted the offending collection service. It appears to have stopped but if you hear it again, please inform the board.

You can sign-up and pay for recycling on the annual dues assessment notice which is usually mailed in early February. To reduce paper work for the board, we allow current home owners to sign up for recycling once per year once per year. New owners can sign up at the time of purchase of their home. See “Garbage Collection“.

This question has been raised several times and there is a very good reason we have not taken that step. Once we install gates, the cost of maintaining roads inside the gates becomes the responsibility of the HOA, instead of the city. Obviously, our dues would go up significantly.

To be absolutely accurate the answer is no.

But…a personal Note: when we were getting ready to purchase a golf cart, we spoke to a CSPD officer in the neighborhood and he is input was “Don’t abuse It.” He went on to suggest that you drive legally, like giving hand signals to turn, lights on at night, and don’t drive while under the influence. My wife and I have been driving to and from the club for about 15 years without incident. We do drive on the roads, not the sidewalks. Many of the HOA members who are also are CSCC members drive their carts back and forth to the club.
